HOME > About Us Sudbury and District Home Builders' Association When you need solid advice about building, buying or renovating your home, the Sudbury and District Home Builders Association (SDHBA) is always there to assist you. Since 1959, members of the SDHBA have worked together, committed to building a strong industry and producing the best housing in the region. We are a voluntary association of members involved in the residential construction industry. The mandate of the SDHBA is to be the voice of the residential construction industry in this region. Like our provincial and national organizations (the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders' Associations) we believe that every Canadian has the right to a reasonable opportunity to own their own home. Our members represent various disciplines from builders, financial institutions, lawyers, land surveyors, such as, suppliers and other related services and professional groups, renovators, manufacturers to name a few. Members of the SDHBA must adhere to a strict code of ethics.
